The Online Clinic is pleased to announce that we have managed to obtain a supply of Xenical for our patients. Xenical has been in very short supply recently and the wholesale price has increased considerably. We have not had any stock for over 2 weeks and all pharmacies are in the same position. Any patients who had purchased their prescription and not cancelled the order before today will have the prescription honoured at the original price agreed. We have had to increase prices for new Xenical prescriptions from today, although we have absorbed most of the price rise in order to limit our patients’ exposure to the higher wholesale prices.
The supply of Xenical is likely to remain limited for the foreseeable future and there may be further supply interruptions before things return to normal.
