Spedra (avanafil)
What is Spedra (Avanafil)?
Spedra (avanafil) is the latest medication available to treat erectile dysfunction. As a PDE5 inhibitor, it works in the same way as Viagra but it can help to produce an erection in less than 15 minutes, so it has a much faster onset than its competitors.
Can I Buy Spedra Online?

How does Spedra work?
Spedra causes the expansion of blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to enter the penis and the formation of an erection. The drug gets to work within 15 minutes. It is recommended that this medication is taken around 30 minutes before sexual intercourse as not everyone will achieve such a fast onset. The treatment will last up to 5 hours, so this gives an adequate window for sexual intercourse. Please note that this does not mean that you will have an erection for 5 hours; this is just the time period when the medication can produce an erection during sexual stimulation.
How effective is Spedra?
Spedra appears to be effective in around 59% of cases of men with erectile dysfunction. This success rate is less than other medications in this category, which have success rates of around 74%. In many cases, men were able to engage in sexual activity within 10 - 12 minutes, so when the medication works, it works well.
Where there was once worry about post-prostatectomy patients taking this treatment, safety and efficacy reports were in fact positive.
Should I change my treatment to Spedra?
We advise that if you have a medication for erectile dysfunction that is working for you then there is no reason to change. You can certainly try Spedra, if it is appropriate for you. But we recommend requesting a small quantity as a trial to make sure it works for you before requesting a larger quantity.
Dosages
Spedra comes in doses of 50mg, 100mg and 200mg of avanafil. 100mg is the recommended starting dose. The efficacy of a 200mg dose is not significantly greater than a 100mg dose.
Side Effects Associated with Spedra
Side effects were uncommon but those reported include facial flushing, congested nose and headaches. Spedra was not reported to have any effect on vision or hearing, unlike Viagra and other first generation PDE5 inhibitors. This is because avanafil is a more selective PDE5 inhibitor.
